Four types depending on the manufacturing method and application! Including general use, for nails, and for welding wire mesh, etc.!
The excerpt from "Steel Wire (Japanese Industrial Standards) (JIS G 3532) 2011" specifies ordinary steel wire, wire for nails, annealed steel wire, and welded wire mesh steel wire. The types of wire are categorized into the four mentioned above based on manufacturing methods and applications. Furthermore, ordinary steel wire is divided into two types based on its quality characteristics, while concrete steel wire is classified into four types based on shape and quality characteristics. [Types] ■ Ordinary Steel Wire - Wire with a circular cross-section that has undergone cold processing on wire material conforming to JIS G 3505. ■ Annealed Steel Wire - Wire with a circular cross-section that has undergone cold processing on wire material conforming to JIS G 3505 and has been annealed for softening. ■ Wire for Nails - Wire with a circular cross-section used for nails, processed cold from wire material conforming to JIS G 3505. ■ Concrete Steel Wire - Wire with circular and deformed cross-sections primarily used for welded wire mesh and concrete reinforcement, processed cold from wire material conforming to JIS G 3505. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
